The Plus X Award is the world’s largest innovation award for technology, sport and lifestyle, according to its own statement. It distinguishes brands for the quality and innovation advantage of their products. A jury of experts, consisting of various representatives from different industries, awards the seals of quality for the innovation prize: innovation, design, high quality, ease of use, functionality, ergonomics and ecology.
Demands and sizes are also growing for insect screening.
The ER2 motorised roller screen from Neher can not only be built to a very large size (up to 5 x 4 metres are possible), but it also offers maximum ease of use at the touch of a button. The Neher motors are BUS-capable and can be integrated into house controls with the corresponding actuator connected upstream. Due to the “super high-speed motor”, the roller screen can be used sensibly on passage doors. Where previously waiting times of 15-20 seconds were the rule, the motorised roller screen from Neher manages the ascent to 2 meters height in just 4 seconds. The roller screen also offers a high level of safety thanks to the collision protection. If the fabric rail encounters an obstacle during the descent, the motor stops and moves the profile approx. 15 cm upwards again.
Secure fabric retention in the lateral guides is important for permanent functionality, especially with large elements. That is why Neher relies on the well-known ZIP technology for its ER2 roller screens. This also withstands wind speeds of up to 90 km/h (wind force 9 corresponds to storm) without any problems.
Convincing arguments for the jury
These and other product advantages of the electric insect protection roller blind from Neher convinced the jury of the Plus X Award to award the product several times.
